For this list, the Receipt Date on your NOA letter (not a letter received date) is the "NOA1 Date". So in your case, 9/9 is the date :)

Did my biometrics on friday, in and out in 10 minutes. I keep hoping VSC is going to speed things up, but it looks like I'm in for a long wait, let's hope it'll be for an approval not an RFE

ROC can take 5-6 months not 3 months. I have seen some approvals take 8 months or longer too.

Interview already? nooooooope you cannot find out the interview date. You will get an NOA and then you wait for biometrics which is completely based on your ASC center if its busy you could be waiting a long time, if its not busy you could get it quickly. After that you wait even longer to find out if you get an interview!

5-6 months, really? So would it be wise to arrange a vacation back to the UK for Christmas? If its 5-6 months for an answer on the interview then that leaves plenty of time. Thanks for the replies people. Its good to know were not alone going through this

If the biometrics is done, and you have the NOA1 extending the green card you can take a vacation yes. If you do not have biometrics done not advised to leave unless you are willing to fly all the way back for biometrics then fly all the way back to UK to finish the vacation.

Sent my package today, I was August filers but packet was sent back, got my husband signature from Iraq so it took me three weeks to send the papers they needed.

I overnight the papers in UPS I paid 70 bucks, hoping to get NOA and Bio soon so I can leave and not have to go back all the way back in US for biometrics.

I sent it to VSC. I filed it August 15th,sent back august 29th. They did not accept my husband scanned signature in I 751, so my husband from Iraq had to send the original signature which took 2 and a half weeks.

I don't know why did not accept his scanned signature but I did include his orders and papers proof of his employment in military base Iraq, but he is not a member of military though,civilian contractor.

1/28/09:NOA2 received ...in 161 days from NOA1

2/10/09:received appointment letter from USEM

3/11 - 12 : MEDICAL -- passed

3/30/09: INTERVIEW -- APPROVED

4/02/09:VISA deliver at home at 2:45 pm

5/28/09:SSN arrived after less than 1 week from filling.

6/01/09:Wedding day.[/color]
