Just got our NOA2 approval for K1 fiancé visa! Thank God! We were making a lot of dua (prayers) during Ramadan!

We were approved in a little under 4 months!

Was just wondering does the Islamabad embassy require a English version of the National ID Card (Shanakthy Card)?

Also my lawyer wants around $2,000 to submit the Packet 3.5 documents to NVC, is that worth it, or is it easy enough to submit everything ourselves?

Take care.

In Arizona its hot hot hot.

Congrats on the NOA2.

The Lawyer Question: Assembling the 129-F packet can be Overwhelming as it was for me. You received the NOA1 and that means the paperwork was complete.

Then you await the NOA2 which you was granted. That was the biggest hurdles. You do not really need a Lawyer unless you feel uncomfortable about the interview documents and such.

$ 2000.00 More ? That should have been included with the costs of the Attorney in the Contract.

My Agreement with my Attorney is the 129-F to the Visa Approval at a total cost of $ 1,500.00.

Your choice.

Congrats !

Wow, $2,000 bucks is a lot of dead presidents at this point of the journey. Just follow the guides and ask questions, sure you can do it.

Good luck.

Congrats

I'm with the others, $2k is a lot of money. When I started looking at the process, it looked really complicated and overwhelming. After reading the guides and looking at the forms, it really isn't that bad. I was approved in around 90 days and I am on to the medical and interview preparations.
