Nothing lucky about it, Sweetcheeks was admitted with an immigrant visa, she did the process, waited the time, paid the fees and got her visa.

I was denied for lack of ties to Canada after living in the US on an F-1 visa. I am now a green card holder after marrying my USC husband

Good luck

If I may ask what was the purpose of your trip when you were denied due to a lack of ties?

To visit friends

How long were you in the US? And how long have you been in Canada since leaving the US?

Good luck

I was in the US for a year under a TN Visa and I have been in Canada for about 3 months and I am going back across the border tomorrow.

Well I am not visiting friends but going to write a professional licensing exam which I have proof of...don't know if that makes it easier.

I was also wondering if you think they will issue me an I-94 departure slip if they do let me know this time? I know they are usually given apart of visas but this time I am going as a visitor.

I have never been refused entry due to a lack of strong ties. The reason I was refused was my visa renewal application was denied.

So this will be the first time, that is to say they even ask about it.

If they already have refused you entry because they suspect you have no strong evidence to prove to them that you have to come back to Canada, I'd say they'll be judging you by a higher threshold than normal.

I have all those things you mentioned, and an apartment, but have lived in the US for 7 years.
