Hello,

I'm Canadian, about to get married to an American girl. We're thinking about applying for a CR-1 after the wedding, but the issue is, we both work in the travel industry, not necessarily in the US, but I will definitely have to enter the US at some point for work. We want to start the process, but we cannot have it impact our jobs. Any suggestions?

Entering the US for work is generally not a problem so long as you can show strong ties back home--the bigger issue might be one of domicile of your about to be wife. Montreal is known to be tough on that issue, so if she can not prove her domicile in the US, that will be the bigger issue.
