Short Engagement Ongoing Evidence Submittal

We had a short engagement, we have met for 11 days, my only concern is if they want to see more proof of a bonified relationship than was sent in with the I-129f. We communicate everyday, usually twice a day. We will have alot of proof. I have no concerns there.

My question is, is there a point where you can submit more proof of evidence while we will be building this evidence as we go along or will she have to just haul this into the interview in case it is asked for.

I agree with the above... they usually ask for the passports and tickets and pictures as evidence that you meet in the past two years... the evidence that you have an ongoing relationship and the relationship is genuine will be submitted during the interview... start collecting/gathering now... please see the guide here in visa journey for the list of documents... Goodluck!!!

-ofcourse u need a affidavit of support(so she is not a public charge when she arrive in us)

note 'THERE IS NO TIMELIME FOR HOW LONG U HAVE KNOWN EACH OTHER EVEN U JUST MEET IN SHORT PERIOD OF TIME AS LONG AS U GUYS MEET WITHIN TWO YEARS YOU CAN START TO SEND A PETITION FOR HER,as long AS YOU CAN PROVE THAT YOUR RELATIONSHIP IS GENUINE YOUR FINE

NOTE2;WHILE u are waiting for the approval letter start gathering those love letters, snail mail, cards, money receipt, flowers receipt if you send her thru online, and whatever you think that can show bonafide relationship, make it organize , mine i put in clear books, and again you stil need a picture together during the interview atleast 6 pcs,CO ALWAYS ASK pic together, avoid sending emails or love letters if your guys calling each other like 'HUSBAND OR WIFE"my hubby did not but i put away the letter that stated "husband and wife"ohh well we feel to called each other like that hahaha..anyways just cautions for you guys, dont send letter with silly words,or money matter that is redflag to the CO.

if i have something missing let me know and also keep checking the uscis website for the forms coz sometimes they are expired always look for updated one b4 u send it.

anyways let us know what else we can do thts why visajourney is here to help each other.

me and my fiance (now my husband) met only once in the Philippines and were together for 14 days. Just collect as much proof as you can for her to bring to the interview. with my case, we also talked twice a day through Skype/google talk, did not have love letters or emails for each other expressing our love, and fortunately consul only asked for pictures of us together.

God Bless you for posting this. I was hoping to get someone in a similar situation that could inspire hope for us. I think if you can do it, we can do it too.

We are already prepared for the worst. We discussed and decided that we will never ever quit until we are approved. We are really committed but I will share your statement with her to give her hope and inspiration that we might too be together seven months from now.

Thank you so much !
