But to be accurate you were actually given a general discharge under honorable conditions. When you say it like you did up there ^^^- you are making it sound like you were given an honorable discharge, which you were not.

Reading comprehension problems? Maybe. It's just you SAY so much and to use Alan's terminology use weasle words, and I see you are bitter about not getting BTZ....Sorry you blew it.

He didn't imply anything other than the facts. Normally I would say use "google" but seeing how you were in the air force you know that discharge exist. If peeps on here take it different than what he posted, maybe they should try using google.

"I want to take this opportunity to mention how thankful I am for an Obama re-election. The choice was clear. We cannot live in a country that treats homosexuals and women as second class citizens. Homosexuals deserve all of the rights and benefits of marriage that heterosexuals receive. Women deserve to be treated with respect and their salaries should not depend on their gender, but their quality of work. I am also thankful that the great, progressive state of California once again voted for the correct President. America is moving forward, and the direction is a positive one."

I think we should get back on topic. There are way too many Seamen jokes to pass up here not to mention the amount of jokes about the number of ships in port as well as the welcome aboard jokes we could be making.

Join in if you know the words. “If you’re pregnant and you know it sue the Navy”

Everyone gets discharged! It's the differences in the manner of discharge. No confusion here, are you understanding it all OK so far?

Take a large, almost round, rotating sphere about 8000 miles in diameter, surround it with a murky, viscous atmosphere of gases mixed with water vapor, tilt its axis so it wobbles back and forth with respect to a source of heat and light, freeze it at both ends and roast it in the middle, cover most of its surface with liquid that constantly feeds vapor into the atmosphere as the sphere tosses billions of gallons up and down to the rhythmic pulling of a captive satellite and the sun. Then try to predict the conditions of that atmosphere over a small area within a 5 mile radius for a period of one to five days in advance!

the implication of your words was loud and clear.

If you want to talk about implications, maybe you could tell us why you agreed with a poster who violated TOS?

But to be accurate you were actually given a general discharge under honorable conditions. When you say it like you did up there ^^^- you are making it sound like you were given an honorable discharge, which you were not.

I didn't make it sound like anything. I stated the facts of my discharge. I was discharged under honorable conditions.

The poster who brought this into the fray insinuated that my misconduct discredited my military service. Obviously, it didn't.

Reading comprehension problems? Maybe. It's just you SAY so much and to use Alan's terminology use weasle words,

See above. There was nothing weasle words about my post.

and I see you are bitter about not getting BTZ....Sorry you blew it.

Speaking of blowing it.... why do you think so many females get BTZ?

I've never seen any hard facts on the number of females that get BTZ but one has to ask why such a disproportionate number end up with that free stripe.

Slim, you must be new to these forums. You profess to know the TOS, yet you breach it right there in that post, soliciting a TOS violations. Tsk tsk.

Where'd I say I know the TOS? I said you're not entitled to violate the TOS.

And by your post... you're acknowledging you violated TOS because it would be impossible for me to solicit a TOS violation by asking you a question about your post unless it quoted a TOS violation.

Lets not fool ourselves here. A General discharge under honorable conditions is given to folks whose service does not warrant an ' honorable' discharge. There had to have been circumstances according to your chain of command that warranted the manner of discharge you got & you know, you could have got that GENERAL DISCHARGE ( under honorable conditions) changed to 'honorable' after getting out of the AF......but you had that little run in w/the law, didn't you?...pity, that...

And it may have been a freebie stripe in your AFSC, but not mine.

A number of comments violating TOS have been removed along with a number of posts quoting the violations. The misogyny, stereotyping, personal attacks and derailment of this thread are all inappropriate. The topic under discussion is a woman who believes her pregnancy should have been diagnosed when she enlisted for military service -not whether women should enlist, not whether men get pregnant, nor any of the other variety of topics that have been discussed rather than the article.

So, discuss the article and if you can't I will be happy to end your participation or close the thread.
