Me and my lovely fiancee, are currently going thru the K-1 process.

I know she will be required to obtain a police certificate in Ukraine, for the visa interview.

Is anyone is familiar, how and where to obtain it, and how long does it take? Don't want it to delay our process.

Thanks for the assistance.

About 3-4 weeks, just go to the local OVIR office..

Police Records

Records are available. Police and prison records are kept by the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Security Service of Ukraine. Immigrant visa applicants from Ukraine obtain police certificates at their local OVIRs (Office of Visas and Registration). Applicants outside Ukraine have to apply for police certificates through the nearest Ukrainian Embassy or Consulate.

Thank you for your quick response.

I guess, as soon as we get NOA2, she can go and get certificate and we should be fine time wise.

The timing seems to vary a bit, but 3-4 weeks is a good average. The certificate is valid for ONE YEAR so there is no need to wait until the last minute. The OVIR office is usually in the largest police station of her city.
