Hi people, we receive NOA1 on April 26th, and only one touch on: April 27th, (4 months and 2 days ago).. do you think there should be a new or recent touch?.... do you think is neccesary to make a call to USCIS or keep waiting?

'Touches' are pretty irrelevant in the grand scheme of things. Some people get touched often, others don't get any until they are approved. The best thing to do is wait until your 5 month window has passed, and then start calling. :)

Mine never got touched at all before I received my approval. The web says they are processing late May filers though so it can't hust to call and make sure there isn't a problem with your case. Otherwise you should be getting soem good news very soon!

Touch or no touch has no bearing on the time of approval. If you have included your email address in form G-1145, you will get an email as soon as your petition is approved. You can also setup online check and add your email and telephone to get those - link given below.

09/12/13 - Case transferred to CSC. NOA2 received on 09/18/13

08/30/13 - Biometrics Done - No walk ins allowed at this LSC (received on 8/16/13).

08/05/13 - NOA1 (received on 08/10/13)

08/01/13 - Mailed I-751 (received on 8/2/13 - check cashed on 8/5/13)

12/28/11 - Received SSN (applied on 12/20/11, as we didn't get based on DS-230 options)
11/28/11 - Received Green Card (Expires on 10/30/13) - Welcome Letter on 11/17/11
10/30/11 - POE - Houston, TX

Chennai Consulate (40 days)
10/28/11 - Received Visa papers and Passport at VFS
10/25/11 - Interview Cleared Successfully (Spouse was not allowed in)

NVC: (90 days from NOA2 to Consulate)
08/31/11 - Case Completed (Interview 10/25/11) - Received at Chennai on 09/19/11
07/22/11 - NVC Case Number

USCIS: (92 days)

6/21/11 - NOA2 (NOA1 on 3/25/11) - took a month to get to NVC
3/21/11 - I-130 sent to USCIS Lockbox, Chicago.

Thanks to all for response, according to your comments, we decided wait 5 months to make the call to USCIS.

We must have patient with USCIS, we also know there are thousands of cases before our.

For good measure, to ensure email and text notification of NOA2, follow the given link and setup the information there for electronic NOA2 notification. I'm not certain, but I think the G-1145 is only sends notifications at intake.

Sure, we have send G1145 for email notification with all I130 papers
