I hope not too hot of food, as things stored in styrofoam that are hot can caus PVCe carcinogens to leach into your food. Same concept with don't drink water out of a plastic bottle if it has sat in the sun all day.

My ex boss died 3 weeks ago - 'the greenest ceo in America'

Anyone who mentioned the cancer causing nature of his product - polyvinylchloride - PVC - had to duck !

He died of cancer

I think US business only cares when green means cheaper input costs. They sell lots of things that will kill us and they don't care

That is where the right wing will leave us high and try and coughing - 'no regulations' so the poisoners and profiteers (job-creators) can kill us at will

Child labor ? 15 year old soldiers ? The right to bar blacks from restaurants coz it's private property ? Unemployment pay ? Unions ? Employment contracts ? Get rid of these regulations say the right - and you will vote for it because the USA is right wing by nature.

The thing is that the country is slipping, and as time goes on, more and more people will seek the protection of regulations because there will be no social security or medicare and nobody to care a damn when the 'job-creators' cast them out all sick with the effects of de-regulation and with nothing and at 53 years of age

That makes no diff to people under 50 who think they are immortal but wait until their derelict and impoverished relatives come looking to live with them. Suddenly it will become relevant

Of course, if you are extreme right wing, you will tell your relatives to go and live under the rairoad bridge and beg a christmas job outside walmart all dressed up as a rheindeer with a big red nose

Most regulations are good and we should be careful not to throw them all out

Can I have a cool custom member title that hasn't been translated by the mods yet?

http://www.google.com/search?q=Póg+mo+thóin!

Awww little baby Bill, are you really offended by my member title, or as I suspect feigning indignation for your own petty reasons.

So what's the kiss ? Is it a pog or thoin

I might need to know this next time I wear my union flag shorts in the bogside..

If I need a kiss, then I need to know whether to ask for a pog or a thoin

I must say that kiss sounds much nicer than either

No wonder that most Irish people speak English all the time

besos

Thats not a smart thing to do Alan. But, I don't think you've got the stones to do it either.

I'd love to see you wearing the union jack in the bogside, I don't think you've got the stones to do it Alan.

I used to work in Northern Ireland

We could see the bogside much like Sarah can see Russia

I used to work in Saudi Arabia too - but they were not as religious

I wore my union jack underpants in Portadown many times - but I kept my pants on in public

We had two factories - a catholic one and a proddy one - 3 miles apart

The catholic girls were prettier - but fatter - so all in all it was a wash and all gris to my mill at the time

I had a British Army rifle in my left ear more than once, but as you can see by my continuing posts, my impression of an Englishman worked fine old fruit

ok a joke:

Feller going home in Belfast at 2am. Suddenly a masked gunman but a pistol in the back of his head and said "are ya a protestant or a catholic"

He wasnt sure just what area he was in so he thought fast.

"Well actually, I am Jew"

Gunman started laughing and the feller said "What are you laughing at ?"

Gunman said " I must be the luckiest Arab in Belfast "

He doesn't care. He drinks to get drunk. He will die of liver disease long before he gets colon cancer.

Alan, I still have family who live in that particular part of Derry and have spent time there myself in the 80's and early 90's. I think you're full of sh!t.

Well you would because I am English and that's all you need to know.. the conflict continues because your feel you need to swear at me only on the basis of my ethnicity

My great grandfather was one Michael Casson from Dublin but his blood has been diluted enough for you and the people in Derry to hate me on sight

..and so it continues. It will comfort you to know I am not a protestant.

Alan, you're reading things that just aren't there. Either put your glasses on, or take your anti-dementia medication. I don't hate you, I just think you're full of #######. I'm not protestant either, nor am I catholic. You would no more wear union jack outfit and walk through Bogside than you would wear a hood and bed sheet in Harlem. It's just a stupid thing to say. I only mention that I have been there to point out how absurd you are being, again.

Australia got rid of polystyrene containers years ago. It didn't affect us at all. Who cares if they're gone? No biggie.
