It really depends on the Embassy. I had submitted my current pay stubs, 2011 w2's and my paperwork from filing and I requested the previous three years of tax transcripts. I went by the guidelines on here. My philosophy is the more the better/ W hy give them a reason to delay your visa ;)

Visit the Embassy website and/or email them and ask them what they want.

Hi, I wrote to the Peruvian embassy asking about that because I was also doubting... they answered...for the I-134 you will need taxes, W2 and letter from employer.

Make sure you have these 3 things :)

And good luck!!!

I would have available at least 3 years tax returns and I did submit same, you will need them for I485 documentation if asked. See the guides so you don't short cut yourself. Any failure on your part will delay everything.

They didn´t say anything about that, but I wouldn´t take any risk and would have all the original documents :)

How would someone have original tax documents? They're sent to the IRS when filing taxes.

Transcripts/copies would be fine.

I filed my taxes online with HR Block, so I have the las 5 years available to print and view.....I know you can also go to the IRS.gov website and request your previous years transcripts up to the last 5 years and they will send them to you. Hope this helps.....
