Hi all,

I have a question again. When you send the documents for USCIS, is it all photocopies? How about at the NVC, is it all originals documents? Thanks.

As far as USCIS, I sent a copy of my marriage cert, and the rest of the documents should be originals (meaning anything asking for a signature, so they can see the validity of it). You make 2 or more copies of the entire packet for yourself of whatever you send. The NVC receives the same packet you sent to NVC so you won't be sending them anything, They just receive then forward to the designated consulate.

Married: 6/17/11

I-130 Sent: 7/9/11

NOA1 : 7/14/11

I-129F Sent: 7/21/11

NOA1: 7/21/11

NOA2: 8/22/11

NVC Received: 8/24/11

NVC Left: 8/26/11

Consulate Received: 9/5/11

Packet 4 Received: 10/4/11

Medical Done: 11/7/11

Interview: 11/23/11

Approved: 11/23/11

Changed to CR1: 12/16/11

Medical Re-Done: 1/5/12

Waiting for Issuance of Visa.........

You need to read the instructions for any particular submission. Some request photocopies while other require originals. Some even want both.
