My interview is scheduled in october in lagos, I want to know how long it will take for my medical result to be ready. And also would they allow my fiance in to the consulate or do they have a place for US citizens to sit down. thanks

Sorry to border you, please i will like to know when is the normal time for benefiaciary to receive package and interview letter from US Embassy Lagos, our petition has been with them for like a month and nothing has been sent to my fiancee, am just worried and also concern about this process, i can read your profile ans see you've gotten your interview day, How does it work and the time it take before you get your interview day.

Hey G/S are u sure ur petition is on lagos embassy, if the NVC said they have sent it to them, what u should do is sending them an email, with your case number and d beneficiary's name, and request for your interview date, t

hat is how I got mine. They will also email u the documents u need, but u can also download some of the documents. Hope this answers ur question

Your medical wont take long it us a two part exam so they administer it over two days and they give u the sealed envelope on the second day. all this will happen pending nothing is wrong with ur xray or something and it also depends on the shots u need some come in a series like the hepatitis but they will let u finish that one in the USA although it is cheaper in Naija but they will surely give u the ones u need to travel.also ur fiance will not be allowed in the embassy with u.she can go to the American side and wait for u or wait outside in the heat good luck!

Well u can send them an email tomorrow, and may get a reply in 2-3 days.

If your spouse is an American citizen he will be allowed to attend the interview with you. You both will be asked questions to make sure the marriage is bonifide. A friend of mine just returned from a interveiw with her husband in Lagos and he will be arriving next week. He was approved for visa. Yaaaa!
