How long after interview is visa in hand?

I was just wondering what peoples experience has been so far with getting the visa in hand after your interview in Sydney. I have my interview 9am this Tuesday and wondering how long after I can expect the visa. I live in VIC but that shouldn't effect the time too much, depends whether the visa is sent out on a specific day or on random days. I am trying to be in USA by Sunday as I have tickets to an event on that day that was purchased as a gift some time ago. Think I have a good chance to get the visa by friday? If not earlier?

I had my interview tuesday just been and i'm expecting to get my visa tomorrow because i checked the tracking number and it got sent out on friday :)they ask you before your interview though when you're planning on travelling so maybe just ask if you could get it earlier, i think some people have

Finally time for AOS.......

12/07/11 Sent AOS package

12/09/11 AOS package delivered

12/14/11 Received NOA for I-485 and I-765 (we're not applying for AP)

12/22/11 Received letter for Biometrics

01/04/12 Biometrics in Phoenix

01/31/12 Received email update from USCIS saying that we've been scheduled for an interview

02/03/12 Got an email saying card production had been ordered for my EAD...now just to wait for the card...

02/09/12 Received email saying EAD card has been sent

02/13/12 Received EAD card :D :D :D :D

03/06/12 Interview in Phoenix :).....Approved :D

03/14/12 Received Green card in mail.....

....no more USCIS until December 2013

My fiance got his visa in hand on Friday after his Tuesday interview. We lived in Brisbane but I don't know how much difference that would really make considering the platinum express envelop. I hope it gets there in time!

K-1 Journey

2010-07-19 ~ Moved to Australia on a Working Holiday visa

2010-11-23 ~ Got engaged!!!
