that zip code thing on the site really was convenient. i liked it, made finding a civil surgeon all easy.

but okay, how about wait times for the actual medical? how long does it usually take before we can get an appointment set? and also, if vaccines are needed for her, do they do that same day as well?

You need to call the civil surgeon and ask them thos questions.

No one on VJ knows every single place and what they do.

Its your job to call and ask them what they do for service for immigration medicals and when you can book your interview.

Hello members of Visa Journey,

I am starting a new topic on photograph styles

okay, when we mail forms I-130 and I-485 for AOS, can we include a collage of many photos in one with captions under each in the collage that explain who is in the photo and such?

or do they want only individual photographs?

Just don't print a freakin' poster! The stuff you send has to fit in a USCIS file folder designed for 8.5 x 11 inch documents. I can't imagine a collage where the pictures will be easily viewable if it has to be printed on a letter size page unless there's no more than six photos in it. Besides, it seems you want to stand out and get noticed in a process where getting noticed usually backfires on you.

Hello Visa Journey Members,

I am writing yet again to ask about something I am not finding any good information on my own.

I know photographs are a neccesary thing to have. photographs of me and my newlywed wife together, but what about videos?

Could I put a video on my PSP and play a video of us in the past that we took of us together?

or are videos just a no go?

any information and knowledge regarding this would be greatly appreciated and thank you for taking the time to read and answer :)

no video no games, just nice pictures.

In Arizona its hot hot hot.

Videos at the interview, No. Photos with the packet to USCIS. Absolutely 100% yes. Don't overwhelm them, but 2 or 3 photos from each visit or 15 or so photos overall. If you have visited multiple times, make sure the photos reflect this. i.e. picture at the same place from different times of the year. photos with obviously different seasons or locations and different clothes. And very very important to include photos of you with her family members.

If there are relevant moments captured on video that are not represented in your photographs then do what I did for our consular interview and print screen captures. Play your video file on your PC, pause it at the point that you want to make a still image. Press the Prt Scr key on the keyboard and then copy it into an imaging program..........Photoshop....Corel or even MSWord will work in this way I believe. MBT

I tend to agree with Ryan H. I would put dashes. I mean what kind of middle name is "None".

My husband does not have a middle name and we left that field blank. We haven't got an RFE for that yet ;)

there is some free software that allow you to crop pictures from the videos frame by frame in your computer "Video to Jpg converters" and I think you ll be able to get a lot of pictures from that ,good luck :)

http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AtQBGzgNvDPhwRTdqlm5XksjzKIX;_ylv=3?qid=20110528202104AAAa8NB

or go to download.com and find one and there is an easy way to do it to

step1 : play your video in your computer

step2 : pause the video in the favorite scene you want to make it as a picture

step3 : look in your keyboard for a key "Fn" it should be next to space then press "prt sc" in the right top of keyboard

step4 : open software "paint" I believe it s in all windows computers

step5 :in paint find "past" voila you got your picture from your videos and then you can cut the sides with select

step6 : save the picture and make sure to writ the date and time

Good luck

Most embassy's ( if not all) do not allow any electronics of any kind. And neither do USCIS offices. And I doubt doubt the CO is going to try and find a place to play them. They don't have the time/desire/need to do so.Don't make yourself crazy. Don't try and get creative. They want to see if you have a bona fide marriage. Take a few photos of you and your wife together in several places and your home. I took about 8 photos of her and me on the beach, visiting NY, visiting Washington and cooking supper at home, and walking the dog. Seriously. Bona fide marriage. It was more than enough. Remember, these interviews can be over in 15 minutes.

I have merged 10 different questions asked by the OP over the last 3 days all on the same basic topic - applying for the AOS. Rather than inundate this forum with a new question each time, please continue your questions in this one topic instead. It would be a very useful idea for you to read over the instructions and the forms because most of the answers to your questions are contained there, then ask for clarification here.

Please, do not start a new topic on this same situation. If you have a change of subject matter, then you can start a new topic to ask that question.

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”
