I just printed out all my bills for the past 6 months. What I failed to remember is that when I was deployed in Afghanistan I put my mothers name on the account just in case something happened she would be able to take care of it for me. My bill is in my name but when I printed them out online I noticed that on the top of every pages ( 100's of pages) it says summary for ( had my mothers name) I called the phone company and they took her name off and said there was no way to change past bills because they have already been "printed". Should I just leave it as is and just attach a paper explaining why my mothers name is on the top of every page or should I mark through her name with a sharpie. So, there is no confusion,or will they wonder what I sharpied through? Im going to go to the phone company today anyways to see if they can give me a "offical paper" stating my name and that im the account holder for this number. What do you guys think? Should this cause a problem? Thanks -Dani

Well i would presume that if they just changed the account name to yours you could show on any new bills that the account # has not changed from the previous bills.

Danielle I would not worry too much about the phone bill and records. Like you said you can write a letter explaining the difference in the names and then just get them to print out the account showing that it is in your name. I really donlt think they look at phone records that closely. Photos and proof of meeting are important at this stage.
