DS Forms for Nigeria

Hello Everyone,

ds-156, ds-156k, ds--157, ds-158, fc-029 and ds-230. Those are the forms listed on VJ website....I am just trying to filter out which one my fiance will actually need to fill out? I found the poice report forms and the medical forms on the Embassy website so those are all set.

Can someone help me with this?

The only one I don't recognise immediately is the fc -029 but that is only needed to certify that phoyocopies submitted are true and accutate copies. Yes you need them all Better buy a new pen or two

For K1 i believe u only need 156, 156k and 157...... What is 158? And 230 is for another visa type not k1

I-129F, Petition for Alien Fiance(e) [uSCIS Instructions](also used in K3 apps): This form is used to petition to bring your fiance(e) and that person's children to the United States for marriage to you or to bring your spouse and that person's children (K-3 and K-4 visas, respectively) to the United States to complete processing for permanent resident status (under the LIFE Act and Amendments of 2000); please see section 12 of the Instructions to the form.

I-134, Affidavit of Support: To file a promise with the Bureau to support an alien entering the United States and that the alien will not become a public charge. A separate affidavit must be filed by the sponsor for each person.

G-325A, Biographic Information: To provide biographic information on an alien. You file this form only as instructed on another Immigration application or petition.

DS-156K, Non-Immigrant Fiance(e) Visa Application: This is only needed (and should be provided) by the US Embassy issuing the Visa.

DS-156, Non-Immigrant Visa Application: Only needed at once you reach the US Embassy handling the Visa. Should also be provided by them.

DS-230, Application for Immigrant Visa and Alien Registration: Only needed by US Embassy handling the Visa. Should be provided by them also.

I believe OP was asking what forms the beneficiary will take with them already filled out and if that is the case then it is 156, 156; and 157 OP pls pay attention to detail because on one of those forms the benficiary is to sign in fron of the CO and not beforehand. I also stand corrected on the ds230......

What is the DS 157 form & DS 230? ... I only see DS 156, 156K & I-134 Form in my packet. What is 157 & 230 for please?
