"Help! We require a copy of the Instruction Letter for Pkt3 ... asap. If you could email us a scanned copy we would be most appreciative." OR, if it's on website, please tell us where to look! Thanks so much!

Everything you need to send Packet 3 is in the link I posted in your other thread about this. You can find it on the Montreal consulate website.

You do not need a physical copy of Packet 3. Some people never receive it.

Here is a link to Packet 3:

http://montreal.usconsulate.gov/content/content.asp?section=visas&document=visa_pkt3

Follow the links to fill out the necessary forms. Make a copy of everything you're sending in case anything gets lost.

On the checklist, make sure to check off everything you have or will have by the time of interview. This includes police check, birth certificate, etc.

Put your MTL case number on everything you're sending in case anything gets misplaced.

Packet 3 also instructs you to sign up on the CSC website. That link is on the webpage I've already linked you to. Right now, all you're required to do is register for DHL services (they're who will receive your Visa for you to pick up) but eventually, after Packet 4 is sent, you'll also use that website to book your interview.

2 more questions:

1. Form DS-160 was completed and submitted online. Q: Do I have to print out a copy and send the copy in with Packet 3?

2. Form DS-156K states:

THE FOLLOWING DOCUMENTS MUST BE ATTACHED IN ORDER TO APPLY FOR A FIANCE(E) VISA

Your Birth Certificate Marriage Certificate (if any) Evidence of Engagement to Your Fiance(e) Evidence of Financial Support

Divorce Decree (if any) Death Certificate of Spouse (if any) Birth Certificates of All Children Listed in Number Five Police Certificates

Must these be attached OR are they brought to the interview only???

Don't worry, I think the majority of us here sent in Packet 3 before we ever got the actual letter in the mail. Some people never even received it. So just follow that list of documents and instructions and you'll be okay!

1. Print out a copy as well as the confirmation page. I sent it with Packet 3 and I also kept a copy to bring to the interview in case they lost it. With the DS-160, you have to upload a picture. If you have problems with this (like I did), send in an extra passport photo attached to the copy of the form.

2. You will bring all of those to the interview with you. Bring the originals, but make copies so that Montreal can keep the copy and you can keep the originals.

The only thing you're sending in with Packet 3 are those forms that are listed on the link I sent you, the checklist (check off things you're sending as well as things you're bringing to the interview), and the passport photos as well as a copy of your biographic page of your passport.

Final question :bonk: 1 more question:

Do I send in the 2 - 2" X 2" photos with Packet 3??? OR I do not send with Pkt 3 and I bring them to the interview???

This is where I got conflicting information too. I sent some in with Packet 3, but I was also asked for them at the interview. I'd send some in with Packet 3 and maybe get a couple extra taken before the interview and bring them just in case.

You send in 2 with packet 3 and bring another 2 to the interview. At least that's what I did. You also need 3 more for the medical exam, which you'll be doing soon :) I think some people have had their Pkt3's approved without the photos but I wouldn't risk it. Who knows what they need so many of the photos for? But all that matters is that they get everything they want from you, lol.
