Who are you talking about? What was the crime? Any arrest will affect the outcome. You have to give more info to get a usable answer. If the crime was commited by the USC they should be asking the question.

DWI is not a minor offense. Honestly I don't know how that could affect the outcome, but I know it can affect them having a job. House arrest & DWI is not anything to take lightly.

16 March 2012 Sent I-751 package from Aviano AB, Italy.

29 March 2012 Received everything back...wrong fee. thought we didn't have to pay biometrics since we were sending fingerprint cards and passport photos.

30 March 2012 Sent everything out again from Aviano AB, Italy.

10 April 2012 Check cashed

17 April 2012 Received NOA1 dated 6 April.

06 Dec 2012 Received 10 yr green card. Letter said it was approved 28 November 2012.

No this is not crime..its juts minor offense about DWI..Drive while intoxicated.iam just concerned if its can affect..

Uh, may I ask what geographic location is DWI/DUI considered a minor offense? I'm just curious.

what u mean?He had his DUI /DWI.2 years ago he hire atty so that he can still work .He undergo correctional 27 days.and after it he hving house arrest ..so my concern is this house arrest can effect the application. He can still work.He will work and stay house only.Then he is applying petition right now.His case is going to clear soon after his probation finish.Is this okay to apply having this case.?

Looks like according to your timeline that you guys have already sent in the petition. No telling what the USCIS will say about the situation of your husband.

I don't know what state your husband is in, but you don't normally get house arrest for DWI/DUI unless this last time was one of many times. I think they would care if he had a history of abuse. There is still some gray areas in your story. All I can say is he may want to consult an immigration lawyer about this ans see what they say.
