Danno has a good heart. When my beloved Beagle passed away, he sent me a PM expressing his condolences. I will never forget his kindness, which is more than some have shown me on these boards. I've never paid much attention to his postings, what his opinions are and such, but I do know that he cared enough for this stranger to offer me comfort in my time of mourning, so G-d bless him for that. Today I will bury my cat of 19 years and I have reflected back on his words . That is all I have to say about Danno.

Danno, I'll explain why this siggy isn't good for you. It is all about blaming everyone else when conservatives are about taking responsibility. Where is the responsibility to take depicted here? Doesn't the west, and even conservatism, have some responsibility for the real or imagined demise of the nebulous west?

Islam and liberalism (read Christian doctrine) have both been around since the country was born. Are they alone destructive elements, or are there other destructive elements that get short shrift in conservative thought?
