Haven't hear from US EMBASSY LAGOS

Hi everyone,we intend to do our police clearance in future when ever we receive packet 3 or 4 from US embassy Lagos, but here is my question and we begin to scare.. Our petition has been with US embassy Lagos since last month and we haven't hear from them, even telling us to do police clearance or send letter to my fiance in Nigeria telling him what to send to them before an interview schedule. Quick one please, do you know time it take before US embassy send you any form of letter after receiving from NVC, because I can't understand why is taking so much time! Your reply will be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Have u tried emailing the embassy to ask them to schedule ur interview? Also are u sure ur petition left the nvc headed to Lagos? The embassy normally email tge email address on file with instructions for medical and police check......

i think it will be beta if the petitioner calls the embassy and ask ?s,acknowledgment is usually accorded to calls from usc.while u can also email the embassy,quoting ur details in d mail

You probably will be better off if u call the DOS to see if they have scheduled ur date they too can also confirm that the petition is there and u can also send another email to the embassy.....

E mail them with your NVC number which should start with LGS and give them information about the beneficiary and information about yourself as the Petitioner that you have not received the interview date. It may take some few days but you will get a response including the forms you need. That's what I did. Even though I was told packet 3 &4 were sent, my fiancee is yet to receive them as of today. Good Luck to you on your journey of love life
