Yahoo user warning

I was checking my PMs and wanted to pass along a warning to the sisters here... this warning was forwarded to me by a sister I know and I do know the Yahoo ID she's warning about. I have seen "her" on someone's Yahoo 360 friends page here (can't remember who).

I have encountered this person and alhamdulilah was very suspicious and blocked 'her'. Alhamdulilah.

"A man posing as a sister; who is banned from most yahoo groups...

has been rearing his ugly head again on

'friend' sites such as MySpace (seeing as he prefers Muslim sites I

wouldn't be surprised if he is on MuslimSpace also); his emails are

rugile77 and rugile771 with various yahoo endings (.co.uk, .com, .fr

etc). This person often claims to be upon salafiyah but makes the

excuse 'she' works and thus cannot read or learn about the deen.

The man who is really from Lithuania according to my google search

claims to be either a revert or a born Muslim sister called Lina or

Umsafiah (or both) from usually either France or Poland; his profiles

always seem quite genuine at first; however when he chats to you on

MSN or yahoo he asks you to show how you put on niqab or hijab via

webcam and if you don't have one, he insists you buy one; there he

takes still pics of you and adds them to his flickr account and other

pages....

its the whole cam thing that tends to give it away as well

as statements about enjoying being beaten by their husband etc; so

don't limit your awareness just to these emails and names only InshaAllaah"

Like I said, I have seen this person on someone's friends list wearing a cream colored khimar and a black face veil. Please beware of this person as he is a sick man who's trying to get pics of girls that he posts on fetish websites!

We should all be, at least a little, hesitant about trusting anyone we meet online. You never know who the person on the other end of the line could be.... it's always better to be safe than sorry! The names listed are not the only ones this man uses and he's NOT the only one doing it!!

Yes unfortunately a while back in June I think there was a man in the UK under the name of Chris from UK in FLickr posting various pictures of sisters in khimar and niqaab without their premission. There was a huge outrage and I believe he was banned but I am not sure...

Could it be the same guy?

Hi

I was googling for rugile771 and came across this site; I am the person who originally 'busted' him so to speak. Just to clarify we have now found this person is a man called Linas from Lithuania; under his old email he has a marriage ad under his real name; he is on myspace and has changed his screename to 'assalam alaikum'; he has also now started to claim he is called Zaina from New York. Chris UK is a totally different guy; he is actually Muslim and I have been told his wife covers I have emailed him to ask what is he playing at but I only get 'smart' responses. Chris also has working for him a Saudi-American woman with a screename of 'Suheylah'; she is from Saudi but looking at her profile is evidently a fetishist as well; and a freelance photographer. I couldn't work out how Chris was obtaining pictures of sisters they had posted privately on myspace and their myspace blogs, if their profile or blog is set to private and you're not on their friend list you cannot see their pics; end of. Well this suheylah woman was the missing link; she befriended sisters and then took their pictures and passed them onto Chris; it turned out she was the only mutual friend on all of these sisters lists; and it was shortly after adding a sister as a friend that their pictures would be stolen. These people are ending up to be quite dodgy in many respects; several people on myspace who have crossed them have had their profiles mysteriously hacked or even deleted; or a fake profile set up purporting to be them. I tried reporting rugile to myspace and this also happened to my profile; it was just deleted; even myspace cannot explain how or why

It would be hard to know, if you google this stuff you will find quite a bit of stuff on veil fetishes, it would be hard to pin this on one guy.
