Will Irene accomplish what Congress doesn't?

Well, the mild earthquake God sent to D.C. didn't do the trick. Cantor didn't get it even though the epicenter is in his district - I think God made it so. But they chose to ignore him. Now here comes Irene. We're looking at several states and millions of people getting hammered this weekend by Irene. Lots of damage expected. Not to make fun of the acute danger that literally tens of millions of people are facing but I wonder whether a minor construction boom will follow the devastation? Billions of dollars of damage, most covered by insurance. Private insurance funds for jobs across the eastern coast line? Is this God's plan? Will the GOP hear him now?

To everyone in Irene's path: Stay safe folks.

Or will the major disruption, the damage to businesses, maybe even an extended shutdown for some, damage the fragile economy even further? Right now, who cares?

Really, trying to make a religious/political point out of this natural monster is pushing it a little, don't you think? Save that for when Irene has cleared the area and we can see what damage it has caused, how many people's lives have been ruined and, sadly, how many lives have been lost. Politics can wait a little.

Tell it to Cantor who seems to think that holding federal disaster relief hostage to get more spending cuts is a good idea.

The sh!t-tea party is probably hoping for as much damage as possible in hopes that the economy will bring us into a depression. It betters the sh!t-tea party's chances in '12

India, gun buyback and steamroll.

I don't think it will. When people are destitute and have no where to turn, they'll be welcoming all the disaster relief they can get.

So, the fact that Eric Cantor is an idiot doesn't mean you have to be one, too.

Don't worry. Any relief that could happen is going to be held up by left-wing whackos and the environmental lobby with permits and other BS.

You'd benefit from an anger management course....just sayin. ;)

Insinuation. What you do when you know nothing.

You need to stop, as the baiting and insults from you are getting tired and old. If you have nothing useful to contribute, then don't.
