I just joined the forum. I met my fiance online a few months ago. We met last week in her home city in Russia and we have decided to start the K1 process. I have reviewed at various places what is necessary to send for the petition. I do not see where a copy of her passport is necessary but she has read on Russian sites that it is. My fiance does not have her international passport yet. Do I need to provide a copy of her international passport with my petition?

Thanks.

Welcome! No need to provide her passport information at this stage. She will need passport photos for the G325A. Obviously she will need it for the embassy/interview stage.

A word of caution about foreign sites regarding US immigration procedures. There is some bad information out there and lots of folks willing to assist (assist you part with your greenbacks).

No, not needed until the interview.

Welcome.

You don't need a copy of her passport, however you want her to start the process of getting international passport as it could take sometime.

Good luck on your journey, I started mine in July, and it is a long ways to go.
