Hello VJ-ers

After lurking for a few weeks, I just wanted to introduce myself to the community.

I am a UKC here on an H1-B since 2003, married this summer to a USC. My attorney (I was more comfortable using one) just Fedexed my AOS/EAD/AP application to Chicago on Friday and it was signed for this morning, so I am now officially on my way to PR status! Yay!

I just wanted to reach out to the other folks who have submitted their apps. around the same time and say that I look forward to giving and receiving moral support as we go through this process together. Here's hoping the journey is smooth and speedy!

2. What are my chances of my case going to CSC? In that case you usually don't have to do an interview, right? To Minfay: your timeline shows yourhusband was approved without interview - is this why?

Welcome Roosterwife :)

It can take up to 2 weeks to recieve your notice in the mail that they have recieved your case and give you a number. It seems CSC transfers are random, and seem to be for those who applied for a K1 visa and have a fairly easy case. PeterMiami also got transferred to CSC and was approved without an interview.
