My case was completed on August 10, 2011 and they had told me they might give me october since september was full. I was told to wait till september to call back. I called today for a different question and they told me my appt was scheduled already for Oct6!!! So everyone just keep calling NVC and talk to reps because the automated machine may not be updated on ur case!!!

Good luck everyone!!!! :)

YAY congrats on the getting the interview date and an advance good luck to you :thumbs:

I'm still waiting on a date too so hopefully with your good news - everyone that's waiting for one will eventually get one too! By the way did you get an email with that too?:dance::star:

- Somewhere between heartaches and waiting comes the chance to be found by someone who can show you that you don't have to be just an Option, but the only CHOICE-

Actually i havent got any emails. I called the visa center and asked if i can do the appt myself by calling the consulate and they told me "we do the appts and we already scheduled yours for oct6." I was shocked and asked again if they were sure because i hadnt got any notification or anything.. and sure enough it eas true.. so i encourage everyone to call the NVC and speak to the representatives because emails, calls, automated machine may be way off from the truth... maybe almost everyone's is scheduled but trust they will be notified.... and in my case i havent!

They told me i will recieve a packet in my email by next week... so dont rely on emails.... just keep calling NVC every other day... keep insisting.. thats what i do... i call and ask different ways the same question and sure enough i get a different answer every time!! Soooo best of luck to you and KEEP CALLING! :star::blush:
