I-751 ( when to complete?)

I am pretty sure it is going to be in the next month or two that i'll have to think about completing the I-751 for my greencard extension.

When I arrived at customs with my fiance visa, they gave me a bit of paper telling me when to make sure I have it completed, but have lost it among boxes having moved house. If I arrived at my POE on 6/31/09, does anyone know when I should ideally send the form in? ( i thought it might be around October, but could be mistaken). I dont want to send it in too early or late.

Make sure to have it in before the 2 year anniversary of the date on your actual green card--not the date you entered. They will start accepting it 90 days before that day and it is advisable to send it in with ample padding. You can get the form on uscis.gov.
