Hello...

I am ready to submit my I-751 Package since my card expires on 11/25/2011. However, I am analyzing other people who have submitted this package since last month it seems that VSC has being scheduling Bios approx. in the next 30 days. I am wondering if anyone has tried a "early walk-in" at UCSI York located in York, PA. The reason I am asking this question is that my husband & I will be travelling to Germany from Sep.26 to Oct.2 2011 (Celebrating our second anniversary!!) Said that, I am afraid to send my package now and having the chance to be scheduled for Bio while I am travelling... I know that I can play save and send it on Aug. 31 and hoping that they will schedule my Bio for after I come back to USA. However, if anyone could help me to clarify if this place allows an early walk-in, I would be glad to send my package tomorrow :)

Thank You:)

Hubby had his bio at York last month, we didn't do walk in though we went a few hours early. Only 1 person was there and she didn't have any ID so she had to leave and come back, nothing was said about being early. It's an hour drive for us, we're in Harrisburg. So we didn't want to risk it, but I got the impression it's no big deal if they aren't busy, they were just happy my hubby had everything he needed plus some. As We took passport, PA drivers license, green card, apt letter, NOA1 and birth certificate, though we only needed the apt letter and ID. There's no security guard at York, you just walk in and check in then fill out paperwork and then they take you when it's your turn, took 5 min.

Dear "Damian&Kelly", thank you very much for this specific information for USCIS York. I am just 20 min away from this office and I will try to submit my ROC on this Saturday and then, when I get the apt.letter I will try a 'walk-in':)

20 min isn't too bad, there's a lot to do in York as well, nice shops and restaurants so might be a good day out either way. Best of luck with ROC, we're June filers, looks like a long wait for VSC, but glad we're this far!

OK.. Answering my own question.. Did my Bio today at UCSI York - Pa as scheduled on my Bio Appointment Letter.. While I was filling out the form, I asked the lady if they accept "Walk-In" and she told me that "YES", they do try to accommodate everyone who comes in.. However, they have a hard time to help people who go there between 8-9 am.. So her advise was if you need to do a "walk-in" visit, better to go between hours (example: 10:30/ 11:30..) and avoid rush hour (8-9am).

They are very nice and helpful people :)

I had my bio done at York last June. I did a walk in since the day they scheduled me was a working day for me. The lady there gave a fit that next time I should just reschedule instead of showing up as a walk-in. Though they aren't busy, she was not happy. There were two of us who did a walk-in too. Oh, and we got lost 4 times trying to find their building. They are in this old farmhouse building near a prison. People have been telling us wrong directions and we keep ending up on wrong entrance to the prison. Talk about crazy.. Lol
