Today is business day 4 since we submitted his DS-261 and opted-in for electronic processing. I won't be upset if it takes through the end of the week to invoice us for the fees, since they did ask for 3-5 business days, but I just think it's funny they would take so long to request some cash.

NVC operates on generated revenue from folks like us, no? Or is that just USCIS? You'd think they'd want their money, honey!

How long have some of you had to wait just to be invoiced?

Aug 18, 2011: NVC process begins
Oct 6, 2011: NVC process completed
Nov 4, 2011: Interview date assigned
Dec 2, 2011: Interview at Consulate (Result: AP - No reason given on 221g)
Feb 7, 2012: Passport requested by Consulate
(...Husband needed passport for personal reasons during this time...)
Apr 9, 2012: Passport mailed to Consulate
Apr 25, 2012: Visa issued
May 1, 2012: Visa in hand
May 31, 2012: POE at Montreal's Trudeau Airport
Early July: Physical Green Card received in mail. Yes, it's green!

March 13, 2014: ROC filed (went to VSC)

March 17, 2014: NOA

April 22, 2014: Biometrics appointment

December 9, 2014: Case inquiry initiated

December 11, 2014: Response: "The processing of your case has been delayed. A check of our records establishes that your case is not yet ready for decision, as the required security checks remain pending."

March 14, 2014: Received NOA that approval had been given on March 10; expect new GC within 60 days.

You will probably be receiving emails today. We have about the same timeline. I received 3 total emails from them this morning and was finally able to pay the fees. I tried to log in as soon as I got to work and it was SIF still but about 20 min later i received the email and was able to log in and pay!!! Today is the day buddy!!!!

Yeah, I've been getting SIF on the invoice login all week. But I can log into the summary info page (where we did the DS-261) just fine, but the links to paying the invoices are dead.

When you log in is it pulling a red message that says it is not available for further processing? Or has that already happened and now you are able to log in again and see the fee amounts there?

Mine was there but showing NOT INVOICED... then I could not sign in for 2 days... then today I received the email telling me the fees are ready. When I logged back in they were there and I paid them. Also make sure you are using Internet Explorer and not Mozilla Firefox or Safari or anything else. Only IE will allow the payment buttons to be used!

Well, there's the NVC Case Summary login here https://ceac.state.gov/IV/Login.aspx?signout=true I can sign in and see that the DS-261 was submitted, but the fee buttons are disabled.

Then there's the NVC Invoice Payment Center here https://ceac.state.gov/CTRAC/Invoice/Signon.aspx?node=Signin That's where I get the red box saying our case isn't eligible for further processing. It's said that since we got case numbers last week.

I only use IE, for sure.

ok if it says its not eligible yet then they haven't invoiced them yet. Kinda strange because you received your case number a few days ahead of mine. My hubby's country doesnt do electronic processing so maybe there is a few days delay while they set up EP for you??

I had tried to log in this morning and got SIF but then I got an email from them about 10min later saying the fee was ready to be paid and then I could sign in. Be on the lookout for an email!!!
