Hello everyone! It's my first time to write something here in VJ. My interview is fast approaching

my husband and I fixed all the papers we need for the K3 visa interview. He sent me through email

his Form 134, pay stubs, Form 1040 etc. Do they need the Form 134 with his actual signature or the one from

email will be fine?..I also did the schedule for my interview online and got the confirmation via email,

when I printed it there's no logo of US Embassy but my email account stating "Appointment confirmation"..sorry

for these questions I just need help from you guys especially those who had finished this stage. I appreciate you

help. :)

Are you sure it is a K3 visa? Your timeline shows that you applied for a CR1 visa. If that is the case, then your interview should be for a CR1 visa, not a K3 visa. K3 visas die at the NVC if the CR1 visa is already being processed.

Besides the path from a CR1 visa to a permanent 10 year green card is less expensive and less hassle.

Yeah it's K3, I received a letter from the US Embassy stating this "IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Please read and follow all interview preparation instructions for immigrant or fiancee K1/K3 visa applicants located on the Embassy web site..etc.."

Did your husband also pay $88 and $404 fees to NVC and provide an I-864? What happened to your I-130 petition?

If it really is a K3 visa interview, you'll need the actual signed I-134.

mt husband didn't pay for $88 and $404 fees to NVC and didn't provide an I-864. My I-130

petition was approved but they just forwarded the I-129F here in Manila and he received a notification stating that our case was under K3.

Thanks for the update. Can you confirm whether both petitions were approved the same day? We've seen three such instances of I-129F petitions being forwarded to NVC ahead of I-130 petitions. Yours might be the fourth such report. Trying to determine if there's a new procedure at USCIS to counter what NVC has been doing.

thanks also. Here's what we have

For I-129F

On July 15, 2011, we mailed you a notice that we certified our approval of this case and sent it to the appropriate appellate body for review. They will notify you directly when they make a final decision. If you move while this case is pending, follow the instructions provided in the notice and use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address or call our customer service center at 1-800-375-5283.

For I-130

On July 15, 2011, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I130 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN. Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283

then he received notification both from I 130 and I 129f that they were approved and the I-129F will be forwarded to Manila.

August 11, he received this notification..

"The state department's National Visa Center has recently received an approved I-129F

petition on behalf of your spouse. This letter is to let you know that within a week the petition will bw forwarded to the visa issuing post overseas that is responsible for processing visa cases originating in the country where you were married.

Our records show that you filed the I-129f petition for:

name of spouse *********

INS receipt****

Case # ****

This case must be processed at:

******

Your spouse will soon receive a packet with instructions from the consular section on how to apply for the K3 visa at the post and what documents will be required. In the meantime, you should visit www.******* to determine it the processing post has any information of which you should be immediately aware.

* these are the things that we have at this time. Than you for your time reading it. :)

Thanks. It appears that your two petitions arrived separately at NVC with the I-129F probably arriving AFTER the I-130. Why is unclear and really it's not clear which arrived first. I'm speculating the I-130 did because of the "appellate" language in the notice. It's a data point to consider but not particularly helpful. Thanks again.

You do have a point there. Because when my husband called the NVC to ask if they received I-130 they said they can't find it but when he ask

about the I-129F they said "we literally received it today". What I think the I-129F arrived first...confusing..:(

Ok, thanks. That makes at least the fourth example of an I-129F petition arriving ahead of the I-130 and getting through, with no plausible explanation I can think of except that USCIS is holding the I-130 so they don't arrive together. It's a long running ####### for tat between Homeland and State.

hi friends

me two my I130 AND I129 APPROVED IN SAME DAY 8 august 2011

THEN NVC GIVE US CASE NUMBER

and said , us ambassady will contact me soon possible for process K3 visa

Would you be kind enough to contact NVC again and ask for their receipt dates for each petition and report back. It would really help in understanding whether USCIS is now forwarding the petitions separately.

Thanks in advance.
