i got my interview on october 11!!! at us embassy manila!! THANK GOD! its been a very very stressful journey. pls pray for me... as i will pray for you all as well. i hope i will be approved.... i want to go to the USA asap coz my tummy is getting bigger everyday... pls help pray! and goodluck guys!

Sorry to be annoying, but can you clarify what is in packet 4? is that the interview letter? I received the interview email which contains the date and time, then it has the list of what forms is accepted and what I should bring but it didnt mention anything about the meical.

hi every one OCTOBER will be here pretty soon!! if you've gotten an interview date and not posted yet on here please do so this weekend i am going to make a list of the dates and people who will interview so we can congradulate and support them as we go through this. I Myself am still waiting for an interview date nonetheless, I have Hope and trying to take a week vacation to go see my hubby. Our daughter is driving us crazy and making things harder but i've been planning a visit forever and now that i can i think it'll help. I am trying to predict when we will get our interview date however, not a lot of active CR1s fro PAP on here last time I checked it would be late November or December comparing to these other two applicant waiting too. My 80 days came and past lol so i urge everyone TO CALL NVC AND DON'T LISTEN TO THE AVR IT'S JUST BUNCH OF #######. lol after that have a wonderful day everyone.

No interview yet.. I keep calling.. now they make it sound like there is only an outside chance of an October interview "We are still scheduling so don't give up all hope! You never know.. Maybe call back next week?"

Evidently the sophisticated computer programs have determined that I have not yet reached the point where I must pay the absolute highest rate for hotels and airfare. I tried to tell them that the only flight I could find under 20 hours (only 14 hours) had gone from 548 one way to 1100 one way so it was a pretty optimal time to spring me a date on me. I even promised to send a vile full of my tears as I spent hundreds or thousands more that I would have needed to had they given me the same date just two week earlier.

Really been wearing thin the last couple of days...

I needed this it made me laugh thank you. TRUST ME i UNDERSTAND your stress!! They keep telling me the same thing too. Keep your head up because all we can do is wait.

That interview email IS packet IV. You would want to review the information about your medical facility through the embassy website. On the london website it gives information about what is needed I would think it would be safe to assume it would be similar for you. Packet 3 and 4 really pertain mostly to the K1 visa as they actually get packets....well they used to anyway lol.

Sep 15: MEDICAL exam completed in Stockholm. All paperwork is done.

I called NVC to see if there are open spots earlier than Oct 31. Stockholm is NOT a high-volume embassy (around 250 per year).

me: “Beneficiary completed his medical today and is ready for his interview. Can we try to get an earlier date than October 31?”

phone rep: “To ask for an earlier interview date, wait until the case is received at the embassy. Then contact the embassy.”

me: “When will that be?”

phone rep: “It has not been mailed yet, and we have no time frames for that.”

me: “How will I know when the case is mailed to the embassy?”

phone rep: “Keep calling.”

A & M: you know you can track the package right? At least it will tell you when it is physically present. It's at the bottom of the instructions (I had to use the date I received the appointment email, not the day after):

Right - I kow how to use DHL- pretty cool really, to see all the packets going out. But the NVC told me our case was not mailed yet, an dthe AVR didn't change. When I asked how long it takes for them to mail the packet out the door, the phone rep repeated, "we have no time frames for that." I am not sure who knows waht at this point, and I am so scared of another "let's let it sit in the mailroom for a month" routine like what happened at USCIS.

i called NVC 2 time in 4hours lol , they said call after few hours lol , , we will give u date... Grr
