LOL I'VE BEEN CALLING THOSE PEOPLE ON A REGULAR STILL SAME THING, 2ND WEEK OF SEPTEMBER BUT I'M WAITING UNTIL A LITTLE BIT TODAY TO CALL, I EVEN TOLD THE REP LAST NIGHT THAT I KNOW THAT THEY DO IT THROUGH OUT THE WHOLE MONTH SO I'LL JUST CALL BACK ONCE A DAY TO SEE IF I GOT MINE. I AM JUST PRAYING WE GET AN INTERVIEW DATE BECAUSE I'M READY FOR THIS PROCESS TO GET OVER WITH. I ALSO KNOW THAT THERE ARE OTHERS WHO'S BEEN WAITING LONGER THEN I ESPECIALLY FRO PORT AU PRINCE THERE'S A COUPLE WHO'S BEE WAITING SINCE JUNE I THINK SO I PRAY THEY GET THERE'S TOO. blush.gif

08/30/13 - Biometrics Done - No walk ins allowed at this LSC (received on 8/16/13).

08/05/13 - NOA1 (received on 08/10/13)

08/01/13 - Mailed I-751 (received on 8/2/13 - check cashed on 8/5/13)

12/28/11 - Received SSN (applied on 12/20/11, as we didn't get based on DS-230 options)
11/28/11 - Received Green Card (Expires on 10/30/13) - Welcome Letter on 11/17/11
10/30/11 - POE - Houston, TX

Chennai Consulate (40 days)
10/28/11 - Received Visa papers and Passport at VFS
10/25/11 - Interview Cleared Successfully (Spouse was not allowed in)

6/21/11 - NOA2 (NOA1 on 3/25/11) - took a month to get to NVC

Hello! Our case completed on Aug 23, and today when I called they told me his interview is scheduled for Oct. 27... It is a little later than I wanted, but at least now I can count the days, and have some control over my life!

Anybody know if they can re-schedule the interview for a little earlier? I do political work, and the municipal elections are the week after the interview... i.e. a really bad time for me to miss work!

I think they can . Call them ASAp and explain the situation. Good Luck!

Dont worry u ll get it soon...we re all prying for u...see I got it after NVC COMPLITED OUR CASE more than 4 months and the all prosess had took a year but when I see yours they are doing good on ur case and I am sure u will get it sooon

Dont worry u ll get it soon...we re all prying for u...see I got it after NVC COMPLITED OUR CASE more than 4 months and the all prosess had took a year but when I see yours they are doing good on ur case and I am sure u will get it sooon

Thank you so much I just realized that my embassy is so behind and that there's a 3-4 months wait for an interview date :( i just pray i can see my hubby by this year end. But watching everyone post their interview dates is really giving me HOPE thanks God blessgood.gif

I call twice per day though I think starting next week I will bump it down to one.. no point since all the prices are back to full fare for all the airlines/dates I have been watching.. Anyway! I call DOS once a week and that was today so I called then around 4pm eastern (I had called NVC a few hours earlier) she was very friendly but at the end said "Hey! You have already called NVC today ... and yesterday!" The NVC operators never let you know that they know how many time you call :)

Anyway both of them told me to call back on the 16th.

I read another post today that the Bogota consulate has decided to push IR-1/CR-1 visa interviews to the back and concentrate on other visas.. I don't understand the logic but a big "well of course they are!" went through my mind.. hey! only 2 hours until I make my last call to NVC for the week to get my three day dose of bad news :) Been over a month since anyone has been given a date by Bogota so at least we are due.
