Where do I send the certification of identity? I sent one three months ago and no response...... Is this normal?

Interview Date: 2009-08-11

K3 DENIED Back to USCIS

Action to deny RFE: 2010-07-01

REAFFIRMED!!! :) : 2010-10-02

NVC Received 2nd time: 2010-10-14

Everything paid by: 2010-10-19

Sent DS230: 2010-11-23

NVC RFE received: 2010-12-17

Second Interview IR-1:2011-02-10

PUT IN AP!!!!!!

THIRD INTERVIEW: 2012-07-17

We were denied based on overstay, not misdemeanor conviction.

Where do I send the certification of identity? I sent one three months ago and no response...... Is this normal?

In what context are you being asked to provide "certification of identity"? Would this be for the petitioner or beneficiary?

For the beneficiary. I interviewed with my husband in feb and they said that it was up to us to prove that he wasn't deported and there are no immigration court procedings pending against him. The lawyer said we can obtain proof by requesting a certification of identity. My lawyer sent it out three months ago and no word since.
