hello anyone pls help...

This is my problem. It worry me about wrong civil status written on my marriage certificate,

the civil status of my husband written on my marriage certificate is single. My husband is divorced and not single.

Will this affect the processes of our visa application?

I am in the process of sending the needed form to him to apply for spousal visa.

I have heard that everyone applying for immigration through marriage MUST have everything correct on all the documents relating to marriage/relationship.

Having said that, I will let someone else answer it in detail.

I did have that problem.His status must say divorced on the marriage certificte and immigration will want current copies of his certified divorce papers and translation to english if needed.

hi zepman, what did you do? did the embassy ask you to correct the error?

pls let me know what happened.
