Hi Everyone,

I really need your help.

Today my fiancée interviewed at the US Embassy at Frankfurt and overall the whole interview went very nice. As my fiancée told me, they were actually in a discussion mood. At the end the interviewing officer told my fiancée that (since this is the second petition) and with these all kind of evidences and documents, she is totally unsure and confused why the US Embassy at Addis Ababa, Ethiopia denied the visa in the first place. For that reason she said she wants to contact the USE at Addis Ababa to know why the visa was denied before issuing another one here. So she gave to my fiancée a green paper which says “pending” with phone # to call after a week.

My question is this what thy call “Administrative Review” and is there anyone knows or been in this kind of situation? If so, would you please share me your experience and also how long it took to hear from the embassy?

I am not sure if that would fall under review or processing. I think it would be review though. We were temporarily in administrative processing (1.5 weeks). If all they are going to do is call the other embassy and ask a couple questions it shouldn't take that long. Keep strong and know you were not denied. So have no worries and God willing you will be will your love soon :thumbs:

No problem and I truely do hope you hear good news soon. Also you may want to try calling DOS to see if they can offer any insight to what is going on.
