Hi there,

i have a quick question and this is regarding to my greencard.

I got my greencard through marriage so i was issued a 2 year conditioned greencard, which allows me to work, travel, legally in the US.

Within the 90 days of my 2 years anniversary, i need to file to remove my conditional status which i did. i also receive a i979c - notice of action. which gives me a extra one year of extention on my conditional greencard.

my question is, i got a new job and the employer is requsting me to fill up i-9, which is a prove that i can work here legally, but my greencard already expire, and i979c - notice of action is my only prove that i can be here one more year legally.

please help

The first 2 sentences of an I-751 receipt notice (I-797C Notice of Action) reads as follows:

Your conditional resident status is extended for a period of one year. During the one-year extension you are authorized EMPLOYMENT and travel.
