IR5 - apply for parents - help

Hello,

I'm a citizen and I applied for my parents. I sent email to NVC to switch my parents' cases to electronic process (thought it would be faster). However, they only assigned new case number to my mom, not my dad. (I guess they overlooked it). I emailed the electronic request again for my mom. Now, I paid my dad's AOS fee ($88) and IV fee($404). However, my mom's status is not available for me to pay the IV fee yet. I have I864 package available, I guess I shouldn't sent it out yet since my mom's IV fee is not paid. Is there anything I can do to make it faster? What can I do next?

Have you sent your father's DS-230 package yet? If not, you can wait to send it until your mom's case catches up. Also, let the NVC know that both cases are for your parents so they note it in their system when it's time to make the interview appointment at the embassy. That way they'll make one appointment for both.

Thank for the response. No, I haven't sent the D230 package to my dad yet. I'm going to fill it out for them, then have them sign, right?
