Even his fiancee dumped him :crying: :crying:

Or did he dump her?

All this talk of dumping, maybe he should join the Browns. I watched Cutler do crazy stuff in Denver, so nothing surprises me. BTW, like so many snaps, he dropped her.

Nothing odd about it most of indana job lose's come from Gary and Indy . Two democrat enclaves Most of the state is growing and in GOP hands .

Odd. Indiana - half the size by population as Illinois - has experienced a net job loss of 10,100 in July (that's almost half the number lost in Illinois) and Minnesota less than half the size of Illinois lost 19,800 jobs that month - proportionally much more than Illinois. Deep red Florida (from a state government point of view) lost 22,100 jobs that month. Yet, there were no tax hikes here but rather tax cuts. And we still ranked #2 in job losses right behind Illinois. What gives?

I'll tell you what these states have in common: government spending cuts. That's what ensures lower employment. ;)

Policy Chart: Illinois Loses Most Jobs in the NationShare|

8/19/2011

RepealButton_1.jpgFor media inquires, please call 312-607-4977.

In a trend that continues to worsen, more Illinoisans found themselves unemployed in the month of July.

Illinois lost more jobs during the month of July than any other state in the nation, according to the most recent Bureau of Labor Statistics report. After losing 7,200 jobs in June, Illinois lost an additional 24,900 non-farm payroll jobs in July. The report also said Illinois's unemployment rate climbed to 9.5 percent. This marks the third consecutive month of increases in the unemployment rate.

Illinois started to create jobs as the national economy began to recover. But just when Illinois's economy seemed to be turning around, lawmakers passed record tax increases in January of this year. Since then, Illinois's employment numbers have done nothing but decline.

Data released today by the bureau confirms this downward trajectory. When it comes to putting people back to work, Illinois is going backwards. Since January, Illinois has dropped 89,000 people from its employment rolls.

It's too early to know conclusively the full impact of the tax hikes on the Illinois economy. Nevertheless, Illinois's employment numbers serve as a good reminder that public policies have dramatic consequences for the daily lives of Illinoisans. A combination of high taxes, overspending and red tape do nothing but chase away job creators and leave too many citizens without jobs. Springfield needs to

The Presidents home state, you think they would have all the jobs.

In Arizona its hot hot hot.

Lake county (Gary) comes in at 10.7% (that's #46 or smack in the middle among Indiana counties) and Marion county comes in at 9.9% which is #38 out of the state's 92 counties. In other words, most of Indiana looks worse not better in terms of unemployment than the two examples you present here. But hey, what are a few facts among friends?

Not so fast. McCoy is the QB for the Browns.good.gif

Cutler will wear out his welcome in Chi-Town, sooner or later. McCoy might be a keeper, the Brownies have a bad habit of rushing their young QBs. If it doesn't work out, say hello to Mr. Cutler.

Let's see Gary and Indy the 2 largest counties in Indiana by population, now run your figures again? Using real math

But like you said why should facts get in the way.

Wish I had time to play but back to work I go

Give Cutler a real O -line and he will become a Stud with a couple superbowls.

They do at that but McCoy thrives in that atmosphere. Unfortunately I think his O-line is not ready yet and he will be pummeled into injuries.helpsmilie.gif

Unemployment rates aren't real math?

compared to what ???

What is the percentage of unemployed by population from lake and Marion counties vs the rest of the state. Bet it makes up a large portion. Then figure how much of the so called stimulus was spent in those two against the rest of the state?? Gary has had money being poured into it for years.

Whatever the portion, the unemployment rates in these counties are in the better half of the state. What part of that is so hard to grasp?

The better half ??

have you ever even traveled in these counties ???

quote all the stats you want. doesn't change. what is actually going on there.

and if you cant understand that good luck.

10.7 unemployment in a city of Hundred thousand vs one of ten thousand. adds up to a lot more people out of work.

lake county has 20.000 Marion 40.000 total 60.000

the whole state has 260.000 unemployed

that adds up to over 20% of the states total and believe me its much worse then the figures show in those areas. but other parts are growing, those in low tax areas.
