I got the K1 visa but because the process was too long, I decided to stay in Canada. I just have a baby and there are lot of benefits for the baby in canada than in US not to mention the free healthcare in Canada and the economic crisis of US. Im just wondering if i can still travel to US when my passport have the K1 visa in it. I have a visitors visa for US valid for 10yrs because im not yet a citizen of canada. should i wait for the expiration of the visa before going to US?

I don't see why you cannot go. On the K-1 you can stay 90 days without marriage. Plus you have a visitors visa, I think it should be fine.

The visitor's visa is voided when you get the K1- cannot hold two visas at once. I would suggest officially telling them you don;t want the K1 anymore, then re-applying for a visitor's visa.

A K1 is an entry visa and if you enter the country with the K1 in your passport it could be considered fraud - if your intent is to leave afterwards. Make a careful decision - if you enter the US then leave, you won't be able to use the K1 again and you'll have to reapply all over.
