Hi all,

I filed AOS/EAD/AP on Aug 22. Had biometrics appt on Sept 26. Should i not have received a notice by now that the AOS application was transferred to another center?

I am on H1 visa, married to USC.

No, you will not get a notice that your case has been transferred as you were not a K-1. One of two things will happen you will get either get a notice for an interview or an approval for your EAD card then a notice for an interview sometime after that. Either one can happen first and you never know which it is going to be. Good luck with your case.

Biometrics in New Orleans today: Appointment was for 3pm. At 3 they were processing the 2pm appointments. All-in all it took 45 minutes. Everyone was nice, polite and tried to get it done fast.

Word of advice: If you can't fill out a form in English you might want to bring someone who can. They only have 2 people doing the biometrics and they don't really have the time to explain what to fill in the form.

All done ;-)

Had our interview today. Everything went well. IO said he would submit my info for card production today, and that it should update on the website today as well. I still don't see the updates online, but looks like we are approved! yay.

My case was kinda complicated (I was married before and filed previously), I will do a write up later in case it might be useful to others later.

Thought I would add to this thread. Seems like things are moving along...I sent my AOS package on August 24th and had my interview in New Jersey last week (10/27) - got approved. :)

Would love to help with any questions since VJ made this whole process somewhat painless.
