My fiancee and I got married last month and filed an I-485, I-765 and I-131 that was accepted 7/15. So far we had her biometrics taken several weeks ago and got a notice last week that her application was sent to the California Service Center for processing (originally at the Chicago lockbox). On her I-131 we requested AP starting September 27 for two weeks so she could go to her brother's wedding. Despite the three-month processing times that are quoted, do we have any hope that the AP will be granted by then? Is there any chance of success of getting anything through an INFOPASS appointment? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks :)

It's a possibility. If the ASC is close, you can make an Infopass and ask about it, but I'm not sure that I would expect much. Part of the reason they ask you about the trip is to see how soon it is in the future; it's possible that it will get approved by then. However, nobody will make any guarantees.

I got my AP through last week that we filed 6/23. It only took 50 days, so you have a chance.

Thanks for your help! I got an e-mail/text today that my fiancee's I-131/I-765 was approved :) Last month I sent the service center an e-mail with my fiancee's pending itineraries attached, and got a response a couple days later saying it would be forwarded for expediting. Yesterday I sent another follow-up e-mail to ask about the status and today it was approved. Very happy as she had wanted to leave 2 weeks from today and we were worried it wasn't coming.

Just wondering, do the AP documents come with the EAD card? The I-765 notice said it would take up to 30 days to produce the card, but the I-131 approval said some notice would be mailed to us now. Can she take that notice of approval if the card doesn't come by then?

She needs the card, but it usually does not take 30 days for it to arrive, though the notice always says that. Mine came in about 2 weeks from the notice. The EAD and AP are now combined to one card, so you'll receive an EAD card with an annotation that says: "Serves as I-512 Advance Parole". When I traveled with my AP I had a copy of my marriage certificate with me just in case, but never had to use it. All I needed was the AP and my passport.

Thanks. Hmm, if it takes 2 weeks to arrive then it's possible she won't have it in hand when her flight is scheduled to leave. I read somewhere that the AP is only checked when entering the U.S., and I could mail it to her before she comes back. Can anyone verify?
