Hello everybody, i'm new-).

So, we got married in the usa...now time for headache-(.

I'm french actually, she's a usc.

I live in France, she lives here in NY-).

So now, i have to go back to my country....and file for the papers...

I've read about dcf, and that looks really ok!!!

So, do you think we can fill in Paris?

Does she has to be a french resident?...Or just beiing there to fill the I-130?...

Other question is the american ambassy in Paris change its policies often??,

If so when?...

This question is posed almost weekly.

YES, I think you can file in Paris.

NO she does not need to be a French resident, just be there in person to file.

The Consulates typiically make their DCF policy changes effective on July 1 of any given year. Of course, things can change at any moment.
