Hi, what I have too send with ds230,and how long does it takes case complete in nvc.thx.

01/08/13 - Approved and GC is order for production on 1/8/14

09/12/13 - Case transferred to CSC. NOA2 received on 09/18/13

08/30/13 - Biometrics Done - No walk ins allowed at this LSC (received on 8/16/13).

08/05/13 - NOA1 (received on 08/10/13)

08/01/13 - Mailed I-751 (received on 8/2/13 - check cashed on 8/5/13)

12/28/11 - Received SSN (applied on 12/20/11, as we didn't get based on DS-230 options)
11/28/11 - Received Green Card (Expires on 10/30/13) - Welcome Letter on 11/17/11
10/30/11 - POE - Houston, TX

Chennai Consulate (40 days)
10/28/11 - Received Visa papers and Passport at VFS
10/25/11 - Interview Cleared Successfully (Spouse was not allowed in)

NVC: (90 days from NOA2 to Consulate)
08/31/11 - Case Completed (Interview 10/25/11) - Received at Chennai on 09/19/11
07/22/11 - NVC Case Number

USCIS: (92 days)

6/21/11 - NOA2 (NOA1 on 3/25/11) - took a month to get to NVC
3/21/11 - I-130 sent to USCIS Lockbox, Chicago.

Thx navyk,i have another question ,my husband has a police clearance .and he don't have original certified passport office police certificate for beneficiary what is that, can I send ds230 without that.thx

In India, Passport Police Clearance Certificate is the one NVC/ US Consulates are looking for. Ask your foreign spouse to take the NOA2 (Approval letter) and the Local Police Clearance Certificate to the Passport Office that issued his/ her passport to get this (some give in a day but some take more time). Some Passport Offices are notorious and will demand the actual interview letter, which NVC/ US Consulates are aware of. So you can always submit the DS-230 with a letter requesting NVC that you be permitted to produce the PCC from the Passport Office at Interview time - they generally accept it. The worst case, you will get a RFE and you can then send the PCC from Passport Office.

Don't send the Local PCC to NVC, as the PAssport Office may want that to issue their PCC.

its mean I can't send police clearance one he send me , now he have to go to passport office and after local police, can he take photo copy for noa2,cuz.i have the original here in usa.plz tell what I can do .

PCC from Passport is what NVC is interested in. So no point in just sending the Local PCC and create confusion at NVC and get RFE and waste time. Yes send a copy of NOA2 and get the PCC from the Passport Office, also send him a copy of this Local PCC (the Passport Office may want it for issue of their PCC). I am not sure if they would be happy with the copy or want the actual original - it depends on the Passport Office - some are fine with a copy and others are too picky. Which is your Passport Office!

Chandighar,punjab passport office , its mean he just go to the passport office and ask for pcc and after go to the police office.

Let him take a copy of NOA2 (approval letter) along with the Local PCC to the Passport. I didn't hear anything good or bad about Chandigarh. All the best.
