we just got checklist cover letter from NVC which indicates missing/incomplete documents and we need to submit new forms. There are some parts here that i don't understand and really need your help.

Part 6 Sponsor's Income and Employment

1. [ ] {BLANK_10}'s name and income should be added to the I-864 under "Income you are using from any

other person who was counted in your household". (which part of the form does it refer to?

2. [x] The amount listed on the Total Household Income line does not equal the sum of the amounts listed

on the preceeding lines.

3. [x] xxxx income indicated on the I-864 Part 25 does not correspond to that shown on the most recent tax return and W-2 (where does this refer to? my husband is a self employed)

Do we need to re send them tax transcripts with the correction form?

Any help would be really really much appreciated.

Thank You

If you could anser these, we can guide you.

How many I-864/ I864A have you sent!

What amounts were entered in Item 23, 24a, 24b and 25 in each of those!

Have you sent full Tax returns or Tax transcripts....! It looks like you sent W-2s.

we sent 2 I-864 form, one from my husband and the other one from my father in law. The income stated on line 22 on his W-2 doesn't cover the poverty guidelines that's why i need a co sponsor which is my FIL. But on the cover sheet that they sent to us, it didn't mentioned about my FIL I-864. He sent the full tax transcript.

"name and income should be added to the I-864 under "Income you are using from any

This is referring to item 24b. They ar expecting the income of your FIL here (did you file I-864A or I-864 for your FIL!)

"The amount listed on the Total Household Income line does not equal the sum of the amounts listed

on the preceeding lines."

The amount in 24C is equal to the total of 24a and 24b. Obviously it may not matching - check this.

"income indicated on the I-864 Part 25 does not correspond to that shown on the most recent tax return and W-2 (where does this refer to? my husband is a self employed)"

The amounts mentioned for each year (2010, 2009 & 2008) in item 25 should equal the amounts of your W-2. Check these.
