my husband is a self employed citizen and he is filing for me a visitor, we have a son who was born in the united states and my husband is the sole bread winner. in the affidavit of support i checked box 24e. and put my name there thinking it just meant that i am the household member. i received a rfe in the mail requesting info about the household member and for documentation for my husband's income. i had previously sent his past 3 yrs tax returns but he has no pay stubs or letter head as he is paid in cash. 1. what evidence do i send in to prove income for my self employed husband and 2.how to correct the error on the I-864 24e.?

A self employed person uses line 22 from their most recent (2010 in this instance) as their income amount. For a household of 3 that number needs to be at least 23,162

Resubmit the I-864 form with the error(s) corrected.

The 2010 tax transcript/return is where the income number will be shown on line 22.
