NVC Phone number connection problems

I haven't been able to use the NVC automated phone number 603 334 0700 at all to find out my status. I only get a dial tone after dialing, no connection at all. Has anybody else had this problem? I am using the magicjack, calling from Philippines, but have never had this problem calling any other number. I even tried calling 202 663 1225 and that went through without any problems. They were closed but I will try them again tomorrow, is there any other number I could call to find out my case status? I am waiting to be issued a NVC case # and it's been more than 3 weeks since my NOA2. Thanks

I used skype when visiting the PI. The nvc is sometimes very hard 2 get through to though.

202 663 1225 this is the number that we called to get the nvc/mnl case number try to call from 8 am to 5 pm , good luck!

I did finally get to talk to a visa specialist at the 202 number, they don't have the file yet, so no case number - I will try again next week, by then it will be 30 days since the NOA2. Just need to keep our spirits up, and hope for a speedy end to this.

are you dialing 1- before the number? It is a long distance call. its not a metro number.

You never dial a "1" when using magicjack, it's only the 10 digits no matter where your calling. I finally received my NVC case number today, so we are excited about that!

As of 10/5/2020 this number reports no longer in service
