On September 29, 2011, we transferred this case I485 APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS to another office for processing and sent you a notice explaining this action. :dance:

I still cant check ours on the system... it's cause they said they have a bug...

Hi everyone....we are also August filers. I am most interested about the waiting time for my Advanced Parole as I am trying to plan a wedding reception back home at Christmas. Can others let me know the status of their AP, or how long approval took after NOA was received?

yeah sometimes applicants can't see their cases, but it's ok as long as u received hard copies of ur cases and u have a date of ur biometric that's ok coz u know that ur packet is with them and anytime u will gonna receive ur cards or u still need to go to an int....

and again tonight i received again an update from USCIS.

"The I485 APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS was transferred and is now being processed at a USCIS office. You will be notified by mail when a decision is made, or if the office needs something from you."

In order to speed up processing, our case was transferred to the California service center... Did anyone else get this notice?

Why California and not Vermont? For K1, we filled through Vermont...

On October 7, 2011, we mailed you an appointment notice for an interview for November 10, 2011, at NATIONAL BENEFITS CENTER. No update on my EAD yet.

I filed AOS/EAD/AP on Aug 22. Had biometrics appt on Sept 26. Should i not have received a notice by now that the AOS application was transferred to another center?

I am on H1 visa, married to USC.

I've seen this late, but it's a nice thing indeed! Woohoo!

I noticed a couple of my fellow September 2010 K1 filers in here with September 12 Biometrics appointments. That happens to be our day as well. It will be exactly 364 days from when I sent in the K-1 petition.

Has anyone else had any troubles opening a joint bank account with their forigen spouses? I do not know if it the the laws in Florida or what, but no bank will accecpt her passport with visa and stamped I-94 card along with ss card and marriage certificate as suffucent ID. It is like they are refusing to aknowlage her existence.

The mingling of financial assets and joint ownership of property is one thing that the AOS adjudicators look at, so I was hoping to get some things set up soon. I guess we will have to wait for her EAD card so she can get a driver's license to use as ID.

Update for us: Interview for AOS on November 9 and EAD and AP approved, card in production as of the 7th of October. Woohoo! This process was lightning fast, considering I had to reschedule biometrics sooo last minute while I was in Hawaii and ended up doing a walk-in instead of wating for the new notice.

Did you have your biometrics here in Hawaii? If I knew only that they accept walk in I would of tried it already.

Is everyone on here K1 to AOS? I wonder if mine will take longer since I am H1 (w/an approved I140).
