i am an x-ray tech and we usually ask if you're pregnant because if you are within you first trimester, we would usually have you cover you abdomen with a lead vest, other than that, you can have your x-ray but make sure you let the tech have you hold the protective vest around your abdomen. since you're gonna have a PA chest x-ray, hold the protective vest 3-5 inches above your buttocks. so goes with your lateral view, hold it up 3-5 inches to your side where the x-ray is aimed. good luck

My OB gave me a waiver for xray. she told me its not safe, could lead to leukemia later on. that's why im so worried. but my fiance told me that his mom had xray when she was pregnant with him and his brother before when ultrasound wasnt there yet. so xray was like her ultrasound before.

Then you have to wait for your girl to give birth before she completes her medical, also try rescheduling your interview appointment at another date because they won't interview unless they have your fiance's medical.

Gasp do not scare this poor woman with unfounded assumptions!! Google or ask a doctor or nurse first.

Hey :)

I am not scaring anybody, i am telling the truth, and also i told the woman she needs to ask a doctor before she does the medical examination if you can read it again what i've told her :)
