I was down there last week. Had a nice time. Ate Brisket. Temps did not go over 92. I must have brought the cool weather down from IL.

Would it have hurt you to swing by Houston with your gorgeous 92 deg temp

ETA: I just realized that I called 92 deg temp as gorgeous weather :(

See that many facts have been left out but nice try. Texas pretty much has had more than half of all jobs that have started since the downturn nationwide. The employment numbers should be better but there is a huge swath of border area that has always had among the highest unemployment in the nation we have to contend with. When Texas had 5% or under figures this area had 15-20 percent unemployment. It also has a very high drop out rate among other indicators that are not good. If anyone can figure out how to get the numbers looking better than feel free to do so. We spend money on schools and infrastructure but still they seem determined to stay the same. I have thought we can just give it back to Mexico but then the border area would change and the same probs would be there.

He can take it.

We will as always.good.gif

I'd take TX over MA on account of the weather alone, if I was forced to choose.
