Hi! So we are nearing our interview at USEM Manila Consulate... I know this might not seem as a big deal but I was wondering if they will allow me to bring help / relative inside to carry my 5-month-old who is also part of the petition, while I do the necessary steps for the interview. Does anyone have any advice for the final interview? Thanks guys =)

I really hope God continues to guide us throughout this journey.

Bringing your newborn would only Hinder your Interview and not gain affection by the CO. It might appear "Irresponsible" Proper proceedure is to see your infant is cared for during this important Interview. Thats going to take hours. Infants do cry and get fussy. It would not appear a plus. They know you have a Infant on the Petition, no need to prove it .

As i saw during my interview last August 5th i saw lots of moms bringing there kids with out any relative with them no matter how many kids you got,so i think they wont allow you to bring someone with you....But just try to call them.....God Bless.

They let me in before when my cousin was petitioned by his parent. His legal guardian here is a senior citizen. So, a minor and a senior citizen. I just had to tell that to the guard at the first line.

If not, you could either ask a relative to come with you and take care of your baby outside while they wait for you to be done. If the CO asks for the baby, you could just say he/she is outside the embassy. OR bring him/her in but in a baby body bag (one that wraps in front of you?). In that case, your hands are free.

Good luck
