My fiance's interview is on March 8th in ghana and we have all the documents except the new certified birth certificates, what are the chances that we will get the visa approved. I am planning on going to Ghana in two days to be there for the interview.

Please tell your fiance to go the birth and death registry in Accra near the independence square. The junction before the independence square its an untarred road. he should go there for the new birth cert. its about ghc 25. i did mine last yr. it takes a week to get.

Ghana has replaced the old pink birth certificate with a new green birth certificate which has more security features. it's automated and biometric too . this new green birth certificate came into force since 2011 so Foreign embassies in Ghana only require this new green birth certificate when applying for a Visa so take note.
